View the latest post Windows 7 download for netbooks

Image

Microsoft Windows 7 has now officially been released, but as a netbook owner you may be asking yourself how do I install or upgrade to it without a CD or DVD drive in my netbook? Microsoft has thought of netbook owners with its new release and has made Windows 7 available for download when purchased directly from the Microsoft Store. The Microsoft Store is the only place where you can get a downloadable version of Windows 7. Once you have purchased Windows 7 for your netbook you will be given a link where you can download Windows to your computer.

Once you have purchased Windows 7 and downloaded it how do you install it? With Windows 7 Microsoft has made available a tool to help you with the process. The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool is an application that will allow you to take the downloaded Windows 7 image and create a bootable USB drive out of the it. You will then be able to install Windows directly from your bootable USB drive.

Microsoft has taken netbooks into great consideration with its development of Windows 7. Will you be upgrading your netbook to Windows 7?
